On 11 November, Shirin Akther Asa, Executive Director of Asmani Foundation, attended the national dissemination event of the study “Between Choice and Constraint: Examining Institutional Gaps and Emerging Trends Related to Child Marriage in Bangladesh.” Following the presentation, a panel discussion was held with representatives from the government, academia, community, youth, and the humanitarian and development sectors.
During the discussion, Asmani Foundation highlighted key issues related to child protection, adolescent girls’ rights, and the importance of strengthening awareness in rural communities, drawing insights from its field-level experience.
